INSURANCE COMMITTEES AMENDMENT REGULATIONS, 1927.

Regulations made by the Irish Insurance Commissioners, with the concurrence of the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, further amending the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Consolidated Regulations (Ireland), 1916.

Dated 12th August, 1927.


The Irish Insurance Commissioners, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Sub-section (4) of Section 59, read with Sub-section (8) of Section 81, of the National Insurance Act, 1911, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, do hereby, with the concurrence of the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, make the following Regulations :—

1.—These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Amendment Regulations, 1927, and shall be read as one with the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Consolidated Regulations (Ireland), 1916, (hereinafter referred to as " the Principal Regulations ").

2.—Notwithstanding anything contained in the Principal Regulations or in Article 2 of the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Amendment Regulations (No. 2), 1923, or in Article 3 of the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Amendment Regulations, 1924, the term of office of the present members of the Committee, other than members appointed by the Council of the County or County Borough, shall (subject to the provisions of any Regulations which the Commissioners may hereafter make determining or further extending the term of office of any member or members or of any class or classes of members of the Committee) be extended to the 29th day of July, 1928, on which date they shall go out of office.
