IMPORTATION OF ELM TREES (PROHIBITION) ORDER, 1929.

| | IMPORTATION OF ELM TREES (PROHIBITION) ORDER, 1929.

| | (Dated 1st day of February, 1929.)
|
| | The Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction for Ireland, by virtue and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Destructive Insects and Pests Acts, 1877 and 1907, and of every other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby, with the concurrence of the Minister for Agriculture, order as follows :—

| | PROHIBITION OF IMPORTATION OF ELM TREES.
|
| | 1. For the prevention of the introduction of pests of the elm tree, including Graphium ulmi and Micrococcus ulmi, the importation into Saorstát Eireann from any country outside Ireland of any living elm tree is hereby prohibited.
|
| | COMMENCEMENT.
|
| | 2. This Order shall come into operation on First day of February, 1929.
|
| | SHORT TITLE.
|
| | 3. This Order may be cited as the Importation of Elm Trees (Prohibition) Order, 1929.
|
| | ORDER REVOKED.
|
| | 4. The Importation of Elm Trees (Prohibition) Order of 1927 is hereby revoked.
|
| | In Witness whereof the Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction for Ireland have hereunto set their Official Seal, this first day of February, 1929.
