MERCHANT SHIPPING. FEES.

The Merchant Shipping (Fees) Order, 1929, dated 21st March, 1929, made by the Minister for Industry and Commerce under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894.

1. In pursuance of the powers conferred on him by the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894 (57 & 58 Vict., c. 60), and of any other power in that behalf, the Minister for Industry and Commerce hereby determines the sum specified in the Schedule hereto as the fees to be paid in respect of the surveys specified therein.

2. This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Fees) Order, 1929.

3. The Merchant Shipping (Fees) Order No. 2, 1925, is hereby revoked.

THE SCHEDULE.

PART I.

Fees for the survey of Motor Boats for Passenger Certificates, to apply only to vessels not exceeding 50 tons gross tonnage.

Where a Certificate for less than the full period is required, the fee shall be as follows:—

St. 6 Certificate: One-seventh of the full fee for each month or part of a month, subject to a minimum of three-sevenths of the full fee.

Certificate other than St. 6: One-twelfth of the full fee for each month or part of a month subject to a minimum of three-twelfths of the full fee.

PART II.

Fees for the survey of Steamships (including motor vessels exceeding 50 tons gross tonnage) for Passenger Certificates.
