THE HOME-GROWN WHEAT (NATIONAL PERCENTAGE FOR CEREAL YEAR 1934-35) (VARYING No. 2) ORDER, 1935. | ||
WHEREAS the Minister for Industry and Commerce, after consultation with the Minister for Agriculture, pursuant to the powers conferred on him by sub-section (1) of Section 29 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 , made an Order (1934—No. 350) dated the sixth day of November, 1934, entitled The Home-Grown Wheat (National Percentage for Cereal Year 1934-35) (Varying) Order, 1934, requiring that of the total amount of wheat required under Section 28 of the said Act to be milled during the cereal year commencing on the 1st day of August, 1934, in all mills which were licensed mills at the commencement of such cereal year, ten per cent. shall consist of home-grown wheat: | ||
AND WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (1) of Section 29 of the said Act that the Minister for Industry and Commerce may after like consultation, during every cereal year by a further order or orders vary the amount of such percentage and the percentage fixed by an order or the last order made under the said section in any cereal year shall for the purposes of the said section be the appointed national percentage for such cereal year: | ||
NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, after consultation with the Minister for Agriculture, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 29 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 , and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling hereby orders as follows:— | ||
1. This order may be cited for all purposes as The Home-Grown Wheat (National Percentage for Cereal Year, 1934-35) (Varying No. 2) Order, 1935. | ||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923) applies to interpretation of this order in like-manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. | ||
3. The percentage of ten per cent. fixed by the Home-Grown Wheat (National Percentage for Cereal Year, 1934-1935) (Varying) Order, 1934, is hereby varied to ten and three-quarter per cent., and the said ten and three-quarter per cent. shall, for the purposes of Section 29 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 , be the national percentage for the Cereal Year, 1934-1935. | ||
