BULK CREAM (BOUNTY) (No. 2) ORDER, 1936.

BULK CREAM (BOUNTY) (No. 2) ORDER, 1936.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 34 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), that the Minister for Agriculture may from time to time by Order make regulations prescribing the rates of bounty under Part VII of the said Act on milk products and may at any time revoke or amend any such Order and may by any such Order prescribe different rates of bounty on different substances and on different classes (defined in such manner as the said Minister shall think proper) of the same substance and the date on which any particular rate of bounty shall come into force :

AND WHEREAS by virtue of Section 3 of the said Act bulk cream is a milk product for the purposes of the said Act :

NOW, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do by this Order make the following regulations :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Bulk Cream (Bounty) (No. 2) Order, 1936.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The Bulk Cream (Bounty) Order, 1936 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 73 of 1936), is revoked as on and from the 1st day of April, 1936.

4. The rate of bounty on any particular bulk cream shall be whichever of the following rates is applicable to such bulk cream, that is to say :—

(a) on bulk cream which was delivered on sale in Saorstát Éireann and on which a levy at the appropriate rate was paid, if the milk-fat content of such bulk cream is not less than fifty per cent., the rate of two shillings and eight pence the gallon, or, if the milk-fat content of such bulk cream is less than fifty per cent., the rate of two shillings and two pence half-penny the gallon, and

(b) on all other bulk cream, if the milk-fat content of such bulk cream is not less than fifty per cent., the rate of eleven pence the gallon, or, if the milk-fat content of such bulk cream is less than fifty per cent., the rate of five pence half-penny the gallon.

5. The rates of bounty prescribed by this Order shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 1936.
