COURTS OF JUSTICE ACT, 1936 (PART IV) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1937. | ||
WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 28 of the Courts of Justice Act, 1936 (No. 48 of 1936), that Part IV of that Act shall come into operation on such date as shall be fixed in that behalf by the Minister for Justice by order made after consultation with the President of the High Court : | ||
AND WHEREAS the Minister for Justice, before making the Order hereinafter contained, duly consulted the President of the High Court in regard. thereto : | ||
NOW, I, PATRICK J. RUTTLEDGE, Minister for Justice in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 28 of the Courts of Justice Act, 1936 (No. 48 of 1936), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling and after consulting the President of the High Court as aforesaid, do hereby order as follows:— | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Courts of Justice Act, 1936 (Part IV) (Commencement) Order, 1937. | ||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. | ||
3. Part IV of the Courts of Justice Act, 1936 (No. 48 of 1936), shall come into operation on the first day of December, 1937. | ||
