EXPORTATION OF ANIMALS ORDER, 1938. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Minister for Agriculture, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the joint operation of the Agriculture Act, 1931 (No. 8 of 1931) and the Diseases of Animals (Ireland) Acts, 1894 to 1935, and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling doth hereby order as follows :— | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1. This Order may be cited as the Exportation of Animals Order, 1938. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 . (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3. In this Order the word " master " includes a person having the charge or command of a vessel. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4. It shall not be lawful for the master of a vessel to cause any such vessel in which a cargo of cattle has been loaded at a port within the State for carriage to Great Britain to be moved from such port until such master has received from a Veterinary Inspector of the Minister for Agriculture in respect of such cargo a certificate in the form set out in the Schedule hereto. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5. Nothing in this Order shall be construed as affecting in any way the operation of the Exportation of Animals (Irish Free State) Order, of 1923. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
