|
| | AND WHEREAS it is enacted by
section 2
of the
Control of Imports (Amendment) Act, 1937
(No. 8 of 1937), as adapted in consequence of the enactment of the Constitution, that the Government may, in and by a quota order, exempt from the prohibition effected by such order goods imported for a specified purpose or in specified circumstances or in a specified manner or in limited quantities and attach to any such exemption a condition requiring the Revenue Commissioners to be satisfied of specified matters before the exemption takes effect :

Control of Imports Act, 1934
(No. 12 of 1934), as adapted in consequence of the enactment of the Constitution, and

|
| | 5. The short title set out in the third column of the Second Schedule to this Order are inserted in that Schedule solely to facilitate references to the exemptions in the second column of the said Schedule to which such short titles are respectively attached, and neither the statement of any such short title in the said third column nor the use thereof in the fourth column of the First Schedule to this Order shall effect the construction or limit the operation of the exemption to which such short title is attached, save that, if there should be, in the said fourth column, a discrepancy between the reference number and the short title of an exemption, regard shall be had to such short title only and such reference number shall be ignored.
