COUNTY MANAGEMENT ACT, 1940 (DATE OF COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1942.

DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH.

WHEREAS by section 2 of the County Management Act, 1940 , it is enacted that the said Act shall come into operation on such day as the Minister for Local Government and Public Health shall by order fix for that purpose :

NOW, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the powers vested in him as aforesaid does hereby order as follows, that is to say :—

1. This Order may be cited as the County Management Act, 1940 (Date of Commencement) Order, 1942.

2. The County Management Act, 1940 , shall come into operation on the 26th day of August, 1942.
