DEFENCE FORCES (BILLETING DURING A PERIOD OF EMERGENCY) REGULATIONS, 1940 and 1941 (REVOCATION) REGULATIONS, 1946.

I, OSCAR TRAYNOR, Minister for Defence, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 12 of the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) (No. 2) Act, 1940 (No. 11 Of 1940), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby make the following regulations :

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Defence Forces (Billeting during a Period of Emergency) Regulations, 1940 and 1941 (Revocation) Regulations, 1946.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 2nd day of September, 1946.

2. The following are hereby revoked :

(a) the Defence Forces (Billeting during a Period of Emergency) Regulations, 1940 ( S. R. & O. No. 267 of 1940 ),

(b) the Defence Forces (Billeting during a Period of Emergency) (Amendment) Regulations, 1941 ( S. R. & O. No. 79 of 1941 ),

(c) the Defence Forces (Billeting during a Period of Emergency) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1941 ( S. R. & O. No. 194 of 1941 ).
