S.I. No. 249/1948:

MENTAL NURSES (QUALIFICATION) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1948.

MENTAL NURSES (QUALIFICATION) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1948.

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 21 of the Local Government Act, 1941 , hereby orders and declares as follows :--

1. The qualifications set forth in the Schedule to the Mental Nurses (Qualification) Order, 1944 (S.R. & O., 1944, No. 290) shall be amended by the substitution for sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph 3 of the Schedule to the said Order of the following :--

" (b) Any person holding the office of Mental Nurse (Female) shall be not less than 5 feet 2 inches in height."

2. This Order may be cited as the Mental Nurses (Qualification) (Amendment) Order, 1948.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Health this nineteenth day of July, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty-eight.
