EMERGENCY POWERS (No. 157) ORDER, 1942 (SEVENTH AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1948. |

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows-- |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 157) Order, 1942 (Seventh Amendment) Order, 1948. |
||
|
2. The Emergency Powers (No. 157) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 96 of 1942), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 157) Order, 1942 (Second Amendment) Order, 1944 (S. R. & O. No. 183 of 1944), shall have effect as if, in the third column of the Schedule at reference number 6, the sign and figures " £8,000,000 " were substituted for the sign and figures " £2,000,000." |
