CUSTOMS DUTIES (MISCELLANEOUS SUSPENSIONS) (No. 2) ORDER, 1948 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1949. |

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :-- |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Customs Duties (Miscellaneous Suspensions) (No. 2) Order, 1948 (Amendment) Order, 1949. |
||
|
2. The Customs Duties (Miscellaneous Suspensions) (No. 2) Order, 1948, shall have effect as if it substituted " the 7th day of January, 1949 " for " the 30th day of September, 1948 " in Article 2 of the Emergency Powers (No. 282) Order, 1943 (S. R. & O. No. 247 of 1943), in relation to the suspension of the operation of the Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 193) Order, 1939 ( S. R. & O. No. 190 of 1939 ). |
