CORAS IOMPAIR ÉIREANN (BANTRY PIER RAILWAY) ABANDONMENT ORDER, 1950.

CORAS IOMPAIR ÉIREANN (BANTRY PIER RAILWAY) ABANDONMENT ORDER, 1950.

I, DANIEL MORRISSEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 27 of the Tramways (Ireland) Act, 1860, as amended by section 23 of the Tramways and Public Companies (Ireland) Act, 1883, and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :--

1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the Córas Iompair Éireann (Bantry Pier Railway) Abandonment Order, 1950.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the Eleventh day of March, 1950.

2. Córas Iompair Éireann may abandon the part of a railway described in the Schedule to this Order.

SCHEDULE.

The Pier known as the railway pier measuring 345 feet long and from 30 to 50 feet wide and which is constructed in part of masonry and in part of timber and which projects in a westerly direction on the north side of the harbour at Bantry, County Cork, situate in the townland of Reenrour West, Parish of Kilmocomoge and County of Cork.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 24th day of February, 1950.
