LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1941 (APPROPRIATE MINISTER FOR OFFICE OF CIVIL DEFENCE OFFICER) ORDER, 1951

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1941 (APPROPRIATE MINISTER FOR OFFICE OF CIVIL DEFENCE OFFICER) ORDER, 1951

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by subsection (2) of section 8 of the Local Government Act, 1941 (No. 23 of 1941) hereby orders as follows :--

1. The Minister for Defence shall be the appropriate Minister for the purposes of Part II of the Local Government Act, 1941 , in relation to the office under a local authority of Civil Defence Officer and holders thereof.

2. This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act, 1941 (Appropriate Minister for Office of Civil Defence Officer) Order, 1951.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Local Government this seventh day of March One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty-one.
