EXCHANGE CONTROL ORDER, 1947 (SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS) (No. 1) ORDER, 1947 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1951.

I, PATRICK McGILLIGAN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Exchange Control Order, 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 394 of 1947 ), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Exchange Control Order, 1947 (Supplemental Provisions) (No. 1) Order, 1947 (Amendment) Order, 1951.

2. The Exchange Control Order, 1947 (Supplemental Provisions) (No. 1) Order, 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 395 of 1947 ), is hereby amended :

(a) by the substitution of " £10 " for " £5 " in paragraph (2) of Article 13 ;

(b) by the substitution of " £10 " for " £5 " wherever the latter occurs in paragraph (1) of Article 14 ;

(c) by the substitution for Article 15 of the following--

" 15. The personal luggage of travellers and any gift of a value not exceeding such amount as the Minister may from time to time direct shall be exempted from the provisions of paragraph (p) of Article 3 of the Principal Order ".
