DEPARTMENT OF POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS. THE INLAND POST AMENDMENT (No. 3) WARRANT, 1951.

DEPARTMENT OF POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS. THE INLAND POST AMENDMENT (No. 3) WARRANT, 1951.

Dated : 4th July, 1951.

The Minister for Finance, on the representation of the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs as testified by his signature hereto and in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Post Office Acts, 1908 to 1937, and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling hereby by this Warrant orders as follows :--

Warrant to be read as one with the Principal Warrant.

1. This Warrant shall be read as one with the Inland Post Warrant, 1939, hereinafter called " the Principal Warrant."

Rates and conditions of Postage.

2. The entries numbered 3, 7 and 8 (as amended by the Inland Post Amendment (No. 2) Warrant, 1948) in the First Schedule to the Principal Warrant specifying the rates of postage, limits of size and weight and certain conditions relating to the transmission by post of printed packets and parcels, are hereby revoked and the entries in the Schedule to this Warrant are substituted therefor.

Short title.

3. This Warrant may be cited as " The Inland Post Amendment (No. 3) Warrant, 1951."

Commencement

4. This Warrant shall come into operation on the 9th day of July, 1951.
