COAL (CORK) (MAXIMUM PRICES) ORDER, 1952.

COAL (CORK) (MAXIMUM PRICES) ORDER, 1952.

I, SEAN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (S. R. & O., No. 224 of 1939), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O., No. 166 of 1942) (which Orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946)), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :--

1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the Coal (Cork) (Maximum Prices) Order, 1952.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 24th day of March, 1952.

2. References in this Order to selling shall be construed as including references to agreeing or offering to sell or to inviting an offer to buy.

3. In this Order " coal " has the meaning attached to it by custom in the trade but excludes anthracite.

4. No person shall sell by retail coal in the County Borough of Cork under the conditions set out in Column (2) of the Schedule hereto at a price exceeding a price calculated at the rate set out in column (3) at the appropriate reference number.

5. The Coal (Cork) (Maximum Prices) Order, 1951 ( S. I. No. 328 of 1951 ) is hereby revoked.
