TOBACCO REHANDLERS (CHARGES) REGULATIONS, 1952. |

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 42 of the Tobacco Act, 1934 (No. 37 of 1934), that as soon as may be in each year the Minister for Agriculture shall by order make regulations (in the said Act referred to as the rehandlers (charges) regulations) fixing the charges to be made by rehandlers in respect of the rehandling by them of tobacco grown in that year: |

NOW, I, THOMAS WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, in pursuance of Section 42 of the Tobacco Act, 1934 (No. 37 of 1934), and in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the said Section and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order and make the following regulations, that is to say:-- |

1. These Regulations may be cited for all purposes as the Tobacco Rehandlers (Charges) Regulations, 1952. |
||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations. |
||
3. The charges to be made by rehandlers in respect of the rehandling by them of tobacco grown in the year 1952 shall be fivepence halfpenny per pound. |
||
