RIVER ERNE HYDRO-ELECTRIC SCHEME APPROVAL ORDER, 1945 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1952.

WHEREAS under subsection (1) of section 5 of the Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Act, 1945 (No. 12 of 1945), the Electricity Supply Board has submitted to the Minister for Industry and Commerce an amendment of the River Erne Hydro-Electric Scheme :

AND WHEREAS the said Minister has considered the said amendment and has consulted with the Minister for Agriculture as to the steps to be taken by the said Board for the protection of fisheries :

NOW, I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Act, 1945 (No. 12 of 1945), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the River Erne Hydro-Electric Scheme Approval Order, 1945 (Amendment) Order, 1952.

2. In this Order, the expression "the Principal Order" means the River Erne Hydro-Electric Scheme Approval Order, 1945 (S. R. & O., No. 86 of 1945), as amended by the River Erne Hydro-Electric Scheme Approval Order, 1945 (Amendment) Order, 1950 ( S.I. No. 236 of 1950 ).

3. Article 3 of the Principal Order is hereby amended by the substitution of "£5,196,000" for " £4,346,000 ".

4. The scheme set out in the Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by the extension of Work No. 13 to include the installation of the second 10,000 kilowatts set at Cliff.
