EMERGENCY POWERS (Nos. 247 AND 342) ORDERS (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1952.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Nos. 247 and 342) Orders (Revocation) Order, 1952.

2. (1) The following Orders are hereby revoked :

(a) the Emergency Powers (No. 247) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O., No. 545 of 1942),

(b) the Emergency Powers (No. 247) Order, 1942 (Second Amendment) Order, 1946 (S. R. & O., No. 278 of 1946),

(c) the Emergency Powers (No. 342) Order, 1944 (S.R. & O.' No. 272 of 1944).

(2) Paragraph (1) of this Article shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1952.
