S.I. No. 247/1953:

MINISTER FOR FINANCE (AGENCY) (NO. 4) ORDER, 1953.

MINISTER FOR FINANCE (AGENCY) (NO. 4) ORDER, 1953.

WHEREAS Seán MacEntee, Minister for Finance, will be temporarily unable to discharge the duties of his office :

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 7 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Minister for Finance (Agency) (No. 4) Order, 1953.

2. Frank Aiken, Minister for External Affairs, is hereby nominated to execute the office of Minister for Finance during the period commencing on the 9th day of July, 1953 and ending on the 22nd day of July, 1953.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government this 7th day of July, 1953.
