S.I. No. 276/1953:

ASBESTOS ARTICLES (TERMINATION OF SUSPENSION OF CUSTOMS DUTY) ORDER, 1953.

ASBESTOS ARTICLES (TERMINATION OF SUSPENSION OF CUSTOMS DUTY) ORDER, 1953.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Asbestos Articles (Termination of Suspension of Customs Duty) Order, 1953.

2. Article 5 of the Customs Duties (Miscellaneous Suspensions) (No. 3) Order, 1948 ( S.I. No. 403 of 1948 ), is hereby revoked as respects articles imported on or after the 28th day of August, 1953.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 21st day of August, 1953.
