EMERGENCY POWERS (No. 282) ORDER, 1943 (TOILET PAPER) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1953. |

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :-- |
||

1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 282) Order, 1943 (Toilet Paper) (Amendment) Order, 1953. |
||
|
2. The Emergency Powers (No. 282) Order, 1943 (S. R. & O. No. 247 of 1943), shall, in so far as it suspends a duty of customs on articles mentioned at reference number 17 in the First Schedule to that Order, cease to have effect as respects articles imported on or after the 16th day of October, 1953. |
