S.I. No. 170/1954:

MINISTER FOR JUSTICE (AGENCY) (No. 5) ORDER, 1954.

MINISTER FOR JUSTICE (AGENCY) (No. 5) ORDER, 1954.

WHEREAS James Everett, Minister for Justice, will be temporarily unable to discharge the duties of his office :

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 7 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Minister for Justice (Agency) (No. 5) Order, 1954.

2. John A. Costello, Taoiseach, is hereby nominated to execute the office of Minister for Justice during the period commencing on the 4th day of August, 1954, and ending on the 31st day of August, 1954.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 30th day of July, 1954.
