S.I. No. 191/1955:

MINISTER FOR DEFENCE (AGENCY) (No. 3) ORDER, 1955.

MINISTER FOR DEFENCE (AGENCY) (No. 3) ORDER, 1955.

WHEREAS Seán MacEoin, Minister for Defence, is temporarily unable to discharge the duties of his office :

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 7 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Minister for Defence (Agency) (No. 3) Order, 1955.

2. Liam Cosgrave, Minister for External Affairs, is hereby nominated to execute the office of Minister for Defence during the period commencing on the 1st day of October, 1955, and ending on the 7th day of October, 1955.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 30th day of September, 1955.
