S.I. No. 238/1955:

MINISTER FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT (AGENCY) ORDER, 1955.

MINISTER FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT (AGENCY) ORDER, 1955.

WHEREAS Patrick O'Donnell, Minister for Local Government, is temporarily unable to discharge the duties of his office :--

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 7 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Minister for Local Government (Agency) Order, 1955.

2. Liam Cosgrave, Minister for External Affairs, is hereby nominated to execute the office of Minister for Local Government during the period ending on the 2nd day of December, 1955.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 24th day of November, 1955.
