S.I. No. 12/1956:

MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE (AGENCY) ORDER, 1956.

MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE (AGENCY) ORDER, 1956.

WHEREAS William Norton, Minister for Industry and Commerce, will be temporarily unable to discharge the duties of his office :

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 7 of the Ministers and Secretaries(Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Minister for Industry and Commerce (Agency) Order, 1956.

2. Brendan Corish, Minister for Social Welfare, is hereby nominated to execute the office of Minister for Industry and Commerce during the period commencing on the 7th day of February, 1956, and ending on the 14th day of February, 1956.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 3rd day of February, 1956.
