INFECTIOUS DISEASES (TEMPORARY PROVISIONS) REGULATIONS, 1956. |

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 29 of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) hereby makes the following Regulations :-- |
||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Infectious Diseases (Temporary Provisions) Regulations, 1956. |
||
2. In these Regulations, the expression " the Principal Regulations means the Infectious Diseases Regulations, 1948 ( S.I. No. 99 of 1948 ). |
||
3. Until these Regulations are revoked, the Second Schedule of the Principal Regulations shall be construed as if the words " Acute lymphocytic meningitis " were included therein below the words " Acute anterior poliomyelitis." |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
These temporary Regulations make acute lymphocytic meningitis a scheduled infectious disease for the purposes of the Infectious Diseases Regulations, 1948. |
