HEALTH (OFFICERS' AGE LIMIT) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1957. |

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers vested in him by sections 13 and 23 of the Local Government Act, 1941 , as adapted by the Health (Transfer of Departmental, Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1947, (S.R. & O., 1947, No. 58), by this his Order declares and orders as follows :-- |

1. This Order may be cited as the Health (Officers' Age Limit) (Amendment) Order, 1957. |
||
2. Article 2 of the Local Government (Officers' Age Limit) Order, 1946 (S.R. & O., 1946, No. 333) shall cease to apply to the office of Resident Medical Superintendent of Carlow District Mental Hospital. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
The effect of this Order is that the age-limit of sixty-five years which applies to certain offices of local authorities ceases to apply to the office of Resident Medical Superintendent of Carlow District Mental Hospital. |
