GAELTACHT (TRANFER OF DEPARTMENTAL ADMINISTRATION AND MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1957. |

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 6 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows: |
||
|
1.--(1) This Order may be cited as the Gaeltacht (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1957. |
||
|
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1957. |
||
|
2. The administration and business of the services referred to in the Schedule are hereby transferred from the Department of Education to the Department of Gaeltacht. |
||

SCHEDULE. |

SERVICES TRANSFERRED. |
||
|
1. Bonus to parents or guardians of certain pupils in the Gaeltacht and Breac-Ghaeltacht. |
||
|
2. Holiday scholarships in the Gaeltacht. |
||
|
3. Taibhdhearc na Gaillimhe. |
||
|
4. Drámaíocht sa Ghaeltacht. |
||
|
5. The Irish Folklore Commission. |
||
|
6. Grants to Irish Colleges in the Gaeltacht. |
||
|
