MILK AND DAIRIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1956 (COMMENCEMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1957.

I, SEÁN MOYLAN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 1 of the Milk and Dairies (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 42 of 1956), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Milk and Dairies (Amendment) Act, 1956 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order, 1957.

2. The following provisions of the Milk and Dairies (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 42 of 1956), namely :

(a) so much of section 3 as repeals sections 20 and 30 of the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (No. 22 of 1935), and

(b) section 12,

shall come into operation on the 15th day of August, 1957.

Explanatory Note.

The effect of this Order is to bring into operation as from 15th August, 1957, the provisions of the Milk and Dairies (Amendment) Act, 1956 , mentioned in Article 2 of the Order.
