		S.I. No. 262/1957: DRAPERY AND FOOTWEAR SHOPS (HOURS OF TRADING ON WEEKDAYS) (URBAN DISTRICT OF BALLINASLOE) ORDER, 1955 (SUSPENSORY) ORDER, 1957.
		DRAPERY AND FOOTWEAR SHOPS (HOURS OF TRADING ON WEEKDAYS) (URBAN DISTRICT OF BALLINASLOE) ORDER, 1955 (SUSPENSORY) ORDER, 1957.
		I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (1) of Section 27 of the Shops (Hours of Trading) Act, 1938 , (No. 3 of 1938), hereby order as follows :
		1. This Order may be cited as the Drapery and Footwear Shops (Hours of Trading on Weekdays) (Urban District of Ballinasloe) Order, 1955, (Suspensory) Order, 1957.
		2. On the 24th day of December, 1957, the Drapery and Footwear Shops (Hours of Trading on Weekdays) (Urban District of Ballinasloe) Order, 1955, shall have effect subject to the modification that " 8.30 p.m." shall be substituted for " 6 p.m." in subparagraph (a) of Article 4.
		GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 19th day of December, 1957.

		EXPLANATORY NOTE.
		The purpose of this Order is to authorise the proprietors of drapery and footwear shops in the urban district of Ballinasloe to keep such shops open for trade up to the hour of 8.30 p.m. on 24th December, 1957. The normal closing hour for these shops from Monday to Friday is 6 p.m.
