STATE GUARANTEES ACT, 1954 (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE) ORDER, 1958

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 of the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (No. 9 of 1954), hereby make the following order with respect to which, pursuant to that section, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House :

1. This Order may be cited as the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (Amendment of Schedule) Order, 1958.

2. The Schedule to the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (No. 9 of 1954), is hereby amended by adding " St. Patrick's Copper Mines Limited " to the bodies specified in the second column and inserting in the third column " £1,368,420 " in respect of that body.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The Order enables the Minister for Finance to guarantee borrowing by St. Patrick's Copper Mines, Limited--up to a maximum of £1,368,420--under the State Guarantees Act, 1954 .
