GREYHOUND INDUSTRY ACT, 1958 (COMMENCEMENT OF SECTIONS 32, 33, 34 and 35) ORDER, 1958.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 31 of the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 (No. 12 of 1958), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 (Commencement of Sections 32, 33, 34 and 35) Order, 1958.

2. The 1st day of January, 1959, is hereby specified as the day on which sections 32 , 33 , 34 and 35 of the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 , shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of the Order is to bring into operation on the 1st January, 1959, the provisions of the Act as regards levies on bookmakers in respect of course bets.
