CLOSE SEASON FOR ANGLING FOR BROWN TROUT WITH SINGLE ROD AND LINE. |

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Lands, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Fisheries Acts, 1842 to 1956, and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 67 of 1957 ), hereby make the following bye-law:-- |

1. This Bye-Law may be cited as the Galway District Close Season Bye-Law No. C.S. 108, 1958. |
||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Bye-Law. |
||
3. Notwithstanding the provisions of any Bye-Law in force immediately before the making of this Bye-Law providing for the annual close season for angling for brown trout by single rod and line in the River Corrib and its lakes and tributaries, but excluding Lough Corrib and Lough Mask, the annual close season for such angling current immediately before the making of this Bye-Law shall continue to be kept and observed until the expiration of the 28th day of February, 1958, and thereupon those provisions shall cease to have effect. |

4. There shall be kept and observed as the annual close season for angling for brown trout by rod and line in the River Corrib and its lakes and tributaries, but excluding Lough Corrib and Lough Mask, the period commencing on the 1st day of October in each year and ending on the last day of February in the year following. |
