S.I. No. 144/1959:

INDUSTRIAL GRANTS ACT, 1959 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1959.

INDUSTRIAL GRANTS ACT, 1959 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1959.

I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 15 of the Industrial Grants Act, 1959 (No. 26 of 1959), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Grants Act, 1959 (Commencement) Order, 1959.

2. The 26th day of August, 1959, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Industrial Grants Act, 1959 (No. 26 of 1959), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal this 25th day of August, 1959.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is that the Industrial Grants Act, 1959 comes into operation on the 26th August, 1959.
