S.I. No. 158/1959:

UNDEVELOPED AREAS ACT, 1952 (EXTENSION OF AREA OF APPLICATION) ORDER, 1959.

UNDEVELOPED AREAS ACT, 1952 (EXTENSION OF AREA OF APPLICATION) ORDER, 1959.

I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (1) of section 3 of the Undeveloped Areas Act, 1952 (No. 1 of 1952), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Undeveloped Areas Act, 1952 (Extension of Area of Application) Order, 1959.

2. The Undeveloped Areas Act, 1952 (No. 1 of 1952), shall apply to the area comprising the townland of Derrinlough in the barony of Eglish and county of Offaly.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 24th day of September, 1959.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is that the area of application of the Undeveloped Areas Act, 1952 , is extended to an area in County Offaly, near Birr.
