AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (EGGS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1960.

AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (EGGS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1960.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 52 of the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Act, 1939 (No. 2 of 1939), hereby make the following regulations :

1.--(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) (Amendment) Regulations, 1960.

(2) The Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Regulations, 1939 to 1955, and these Regulations shall be construed as one and may be cited together as the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Regulations, 1939 to 1960.

2. Article 23 of the Agricultural Produce (Eggs). Regulations, 1939 ( S. R. & O. No. 169 of 1939 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The Regulations relieve retailers of the obligation to code mark eggs acquired for sale by retail.
