ROAD TRANSPORT ACT, 1932, REGULATIONS, 1960.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 23 of the Road 'Transport Act, 1932 (No. 2 of 1932), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby order as follows:--

1.--(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Road Transport Act 1932 , Regulations, 1960.

(2) These Regulations and the Road Transport Act, 1932 , Regulations, 1932 to 1956, may be cited together as the Road Transport Act, 1932 , Regulations, 1932 to 1960.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3. The Road Transport Act, 1932 , Regulations, 1956 ( S.I. No. 118 of 1956 ), are hereby amended by the substitution in Regulation 3 for "eighteen and one-eighth per cent." of "twenty seven per cent.".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these regulations is to permit of an increase not exceeding 7½% in fares chargeable on provincial omnibus services other than those provided by Córas Iompair Éireann.
