DISEASES OF ANIMALS ACT, 1960 (SECTION 5 (1)) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1960.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 5 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1960 (No. 26 of 1960), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals Act, 1960 (Section 5 (1)) (Commencement) Order, 1960.

2. Subsection (1) of section 5 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1960 (No. 26 of 1960), shall come into operation on the 1st day of September, 1960.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation on 1st September, 1960, section 5 (i) of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1960 , which provides for the substitution of "attested" for "accredited" in legislation relating to the eradication of bovine tuberculosis.
