S.I. No. 103/1961:

DERELICT SITES ACT, 1961 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1961.

DERELICT SITES ACT, 1961 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1961.

The Minister for Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of section 24 of the Derelict Sites Act, 1961 hereby orders as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Derelict Sites Act, 1961 (Commencement) Order, 1961.

2. The Derelict Sites Act, 1961 (No. 3 of 1961) shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1961.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Local Government this twenty-fourth day of May, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty-one.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring the Derelict Sites Act, 1961 into operation on the 1st June, 1961.
