INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH AND STANDARDS ACT, 1961 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1961.

INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH AND STANDARDS ACT, 1961 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1961.

I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 of the Industrial Research and Standards Act, 1961 (No. 20 of 1961), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Research and Standards Act, 1961 (Commencement) Order, 1961.

2. The 4th day of October, 1961, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Industrial Research and Standards Act, 1961 (No. 20 of 1961), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 23rd day of September, 1961.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints the 4th October, 1961, as the day on which the Industrial Research and Standards Act, 1961 , shall come into operation.
