COUNTY LAOIGHIS (REGISTRARS' DISTRICTS) ORDER, 1962.

I, PÁDRAIG Ó CINNÉIDE, an tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 and Section 8 of the Registration of Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the County Laoighis (Registrars' Districts) Order, 1962.

2. The division of County Laoighis into Registrars' Districts shall be varied by the abolition of the Ballyroan Registrar's District and the addition of the area heretofore comprising the said Ballyroan Registrar's District to the Abbeyleix Registrar's District.

3. This Order shall come into operation on the eighth day of January, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to abolish the Ballyroan Registrar's District and to add the area heretofore comprising the Ballyroan Registrar's District to the Abbeyleix Registrar's District to make the boundaries of the Abbeyleix Registrar's District, thus enlarged, co-terminous with the boundaries of the Abbeyleix Dispensary District as constituted by the County Laoighis (Dispensary Districts) Order, 1962 ( S.I. No. 213 of 1962 ).
