TURNOVER TAX (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1963.

I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (5) of section 49 of the Finance Act, 1963 (No. 23 of 1963), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Turnover Tax (Appointed Day) Order, 1963.

2. The 19th day of August, 1963, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of section 49 of the Finance Act, 1903.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 16th day of August, 1963.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Section 49 of the Finance Act, 1963 , provides for the registration of persons carrying on certain activities on or after day to be appointed by Order of the Minister for Finance. This Order appoints the 19th August, 1963, as the appointed day.
