STOCK TRANSFER (RECOGNITION OF STOCK EXCHANGES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1964.

STOCK TRANSFER (RECOGNITION OF STOCK EXCHANGES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1964.

I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 of the Stock Transfer Act, 1963 (No. 34 of 1963), hereby make the following regulations :

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Stock Transfer (Recognition of Stock Exchanges) (Amendment) Regulations, 1964.

2. The Schedule to the Stock Transfer (Recognition of Stock Exchanges) Regulations, 1964 ( S.I. No. 5 of 1964 ), is hereby amended as follows:

(a) " Scottish Stock Exchange " shall be inserted under " Oldham Stock Exchange ",

(b) " Aberdeen Stock Exchange ", " Dundee Stock Exchange ", " Edinburgh Stock Exchange " and " Glasgow Stock Exchange " shall be deleted.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations amend the list of stock exchanges which are declared to be recognised stock exchanges for the purposes of the Stock Transfer Act, 1963 .
