CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 36, FORTIETH PERIOD) (LAMINATED SPRINGS) ORDER, 1964.

CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 36, FORTIETH PERIOD) (LAMINATED SPRINGS) ORDER, 1964.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 to 1963, hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 36, Fortieth Period) (Laminated Springs) Order, 1964.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The period specified in the second column of the Schedule to this Order is hereby appointed to be the next quota period under the quota order specified in the first column of the said Schedule and the quantity of goods to which such quota order applies specified in the third column of the said Schedule is hereby appointed to be the quota in respect of the said next quota period.

The period beginning on the 1st day of April, 1964, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1965.

A quantity equal in value to two thousand, four hundred and twenty pounds (£2,420).

Certain laminated springs and certain component parts of laminated springs.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 18th day of February, 1964.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Instrument appoints a quantity of Laminated Springs equal in value to £2,420 as the quantity that may be imported during the period 1st April, 1964 to the 31st March, 1965.
