I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 1 of the Companies Act, 1963 (No. 33 of 1963), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Companies Act, 1963 (Commencement) Order, 1964.

2. The 1st day of April, 1964, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Companies Act, 1963 (No. 33 of 1963), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints the 1st day of April, 1964, as the day on which the Companies Act, 1963 , shall come into operation.
