HOUSING (LOANS AND GRANTS) ACT, 1962 (COMMENCEMENT OF SECTION 11) ORDER, 1964. |

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (11) of section 11 of the Housing Loans and Grants) Act, 1962 (No. 27 of 1962) hereby orders as follows : |

|
1. This Order may be cited as the Housing (Loans and Grants) Act, 1962 (Commencement of Section 11) Order, 1964. |
||
|
2. Section 11 of the Housing (Loans and Grants) Act, 1962 shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1964. |
||
|

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
|
This Order fixes the 1st day of June, 1964 as the day on which section 11 of the Housing (Loans and Grants) Act, 1962 comes into operation. This section provides for the making of loans by housing authorities for acquisition and construction of houses. |
