CARRIAGE OF COMMODITIES ORDER, 1965.

The Government, in exercise of the power conferred on them by section 3 of the Transport (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1955 (No. 21 of 1955), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Carriage of Commodities Order, 1965.

2. During the period commencing on the 23rd day of June, 1965, and ending on the 29th day of June, 1965, section 9 of the Road Transport Act, 1933 (which restricts the carriage of merchandise by unlicensed persons) shall not apply to the carriage of a commodity specified in the Schedule to this Order.

4. Animal fats and oils and their products

5. Vegetable fats and oils and their products

6. Prepared edible fats

7. Animal and vegetable waxes

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides that during the period commencing on 23rd June, 1965 and ending on 29th June, 1965, section 9 of the Road Transport Act, 1933 (which restricts the carriage of merchandise by unlicensed persons) shall not apply to the carriage of the commodities specified in the Schedule to the Order.
